THE FESTIVAL WILL NOT BE HELD IN 2020. THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR PAST SUPPORT.
The Deerfield Township Recreation Committee has decided that the Deerfield Township Harvest Festival will not be held in 2020. They reported this decision to the Township Committee, who agreed with the decision of the Recreation Committee.
After 41 years of planning and running the festival, the Festival’s volunteers agreed that it was time to take a break from the event for at least a year.
The Recreation Committee thanks all of the volunteers who worked together as a team and as friends, to make this event special for the Township, and all of the thousands of people who have attended and participated over the years. A special thanks goes out to all the vendors and organizations who became part of the Festival community and the business sponsors for their financial support over the years.
The Recreation Committee thanks the Township officials and employees who have worked with us over the years, the municipalities, and those who have supported the festival, especially Rosenhayn Fire & Rescue, who gave us full use of their buildings and grounds, Tony and Kathy Brago, neighbors of the event who allowed us to use their property, Cumberland County Freeholders, Public Works Department, and Sheriff Department, NJ State Police and County Fire Police, who provided public safety services.
The Deerfield Township Committee thanks the many volunteers who have given countless hours over the years to make the Festival one the area’s most successful community events for four decades.
In 2020, the Recreation Committee and Township Committee will discuss the future of the community event.
